Recap: Bucks 106, Wolves 97

Last night, the Wolves fell to the Bucks 106-97 in the back end of their back-to-back games. Even with the loss, there were a lot of different things to take away from the game that are very encouraging.

Corey Brewer was the star for the Wolves, and netted 27 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 assists in 40 minutes of play (yes, 40 minutes). Brewer also played well on defense, blocking two shots, and collecting two steals as well.

Other than Brewer, the key players were Al Jefferson, who had another normal 21 point, 13 rebound game, and Marko Jaric, who scored 14 points and had 4 assists as the starting point guard for the Wolves.

The best news of the night was the return of Ryan Gomes. He has missed the last few games with a sprained ankle, and played about 15 minutes in his return, scoring 5 points and collecting 2 rebounds.

Randy Foye could return as soon as this Tuesday against the Indiana Pacers, and there is still no timetable on Telfair’s return to the team.
