Hi,

I visited your sports blog Talkin' T-Wolves at http://twolves.wordpress.com/. You have really great articles and I'm glad I found your site.

I would like to know if you're accepting guest blog posts, I'd like to send you an original blog entry on basketball which I think would fit nicely with your site. I'm doing this for free but would only require 1 backlink in the article to my site.

Please let me know if you're interested in publishing this basketball blog entry so I can send it to you for publication soon.

Thank you

I write a blog for the 3 Shades of Blue blog about the Memphis Grizzlies. Here is my pre-game comments for the upcoming TWolves game: http://3shadesofblue.blogspot.com/2007/11/memphis-vs-minnesota-12107.html.

I do this type of write up for every Grizzlies game and am looking to share the information with other bloggers who do similiar commentary before games. By sharing opposing views of the game it usually makes for much more interesting reading.

Let us know if you guys write anything about the game on your site and we will link our readers to you as well.

They're not so much young as they are bad. Really bad. Maybe two-four players on that team will be there in two years. Maybe less.

As a lifetime Celtics fan (dating back to Cousy), I was intrigued by this posting. The last couple of years the comment made by the fans and coaches was that the Celtics did not know how to finish games. That it was just because the Celtics were young. Many times fans were saying, "if we could just stop the game after three quarters." Now, the Wolves are saying the same thing.

Is it youth?

In part, some of it is youth. There is however an intangible that is missing, and will always be missing. The young former Celtics players know how to lose. They've done a lot of it the last couple of years. The Wolves players have also been losing a lot the last couple of years. And Brewer is not the answer.

The key will be to get a franchise player that will come in and turn the attitude of the team around. Until that time, the Wolves will be doomed to play as good as the Clippers or worse. Until the franchise gets that player, the Wolves will be stuck in the lottery.

That's not to say the Wolves do not have young talent. They do. But if players do not remember or learn how to win, they find ways to lose, and soon just come to expect that. Let's hope that McHale can make a huge trade in his favor. Otherwise, let's hope that the next LeBron can be found for him in the draft. If not, look at the history of the Clippers, and realize that this will be the Wolves for years to come.

The Davis and Blount to Miami trade was great because they got rid of Davis and freed up minutes for the young guys. Plus Walker's contract expires a year sooner than Blount and they got a first round pick. If the Heat don't make the playoffs this year the Wolves don't get their first rounder but if they can battle back and make the playoffs as a 7 or 8 seed their pick would be in the 15-18 range and the Wolves would get it. Walker is untradable, he is set to make 17-million over the next two seasons, they should offer him $13-million for a buyout and be done with him. They are in the same situation with Jaric.

It'd be nice if we could find some way to buy him out, or trade him, if anyone would be stupid enough to take him. However, I still like the Ricky and Blount for Antoine deal just because you're getting 2 definitely bad attitudes for 1 definitely bad attitude, and you're also getting a guy who wouldn't demand the type of minutes that Ricky and Blount command. Is anyone else thinking that the 13 minutes Antoine's getting a game is more than he deserves?
